A small, private visitor log.
This website uses first-party analytics so Miguel can see how people find and use his portfolio. Records can include visit time, pages, approximate city/region/country, network provider, device category, browser, operating system, language, screen size, referring domain, campaign tags, estimated active time, scroll depth, browser-reported timezone, interaction counts, and link-action categories (resume, contact, project, language, navigation, LinkedIn or external link). No link text or typed content is recorded.
Location comes from network information and can be inaccurate. For engaged browser visits, if hosting metadata is incomplete, the server sends the edge-provided network address to GeoJS (geojs.io) over HTTPS to obtain an approximate city, region, country, timezone and network provider. The lookup receives no session ID, page history, name, email or other browser details. Its own privacy policy applies. Lookup addresses are held briefly in server memory for caching, never written to this analytics database. Lookups are skipped for detected automation, unconfirmed loads and privacy opt-outs. Missing, conflicting or failed lookups are labeled explicitly. The log does not store raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, precise GPS coordinates, full referring URLs, query strings, keystrokes, or session recordings. It does not use advertising cookies or identify visitors across websites. A random identifier in your tab's session storage groups page views and renews after 30 minutes without interaction. A browser that reports automation is classified separately. An engaged session requires a recorded interaction, which is not proof of a human visitor.
Only the site owner can read the analytics dashboard. The owner may receive ChatGPT notifications summarizing new visits. The dashboard shows the last 90 days. Older records are deleted as new visits are recorded. Hosting providers may separately process technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are honored. You can also turn off analytics for this browser below; the preference is saved in local storage.
You can change this preference at any time.
